man, i’ve had that thought so many times over the past decade. and i’m not altogether sure i was completely sarcastic, every single time. i imagine that there were a few situations that 17 year old me, with my significantly less eroded confidence and my unfettered imagination, might have actually pulled off a little better than the present incarnation.
but i’m sure somebody would have hammered me into a more grown up mindset. man, i was a smartass at 17. now, not so much the smart.
