  • IOWA FAMILY REUNION

We had our family reunion at a bed & breakfast in Grinnel, Iowa. The six of us from Illinois piled into Bill’s mini-van and met the Iowa branch of the family tree not too far out of Des Moines.  We spent two days and nights just enjoying each other in the peace and quiet of a small college town, reminiscing, and losing money at a nearby casino.

For smaller groups, a bed & breakfast is a great way to get together.  We sat out on the porch or around the parlor without television or other distractions and entertained and enjoyed each other.

  • I’m taking most of the pictures! Our waiter took the group photo. I am wearing the blue shirt near the post at the end of the table.

  • Loved the slick picture show and the background music.  Sounds like you enjoyed yourselves at the re-union…. nothing like family get-togethers, especially for us of a certain age, eh Paul ?   Next week Madge and I, our three “kids” (45, 40, 37) and their 7 kids, 15 in all, are joining us on our bi-annual trip to the Red Sea. Can’t wait !
