  • I think half these changes are pretty good. The other half I disagree with on principle. However, the CEO and their outrageous salaries, along with lawmakers being able to secure their political interests from the moment they are elected is pretty ridiculous. Term limits are definitely the way to go. We have them here in California for the state legislatures, but it would be great to see national representatives not depending their livelihood on that job when most of them barely do anything!

I have all sorts of ideas as to how we could make reshape our electoral system in order to make our representatives actually work, but the list goes on forever…

  • Can I get these engraved?

  • I especially agree with Not allowing babies born to illegal aliens to automatically be US citizens

  • Agree with most.  Don’t really like term limits.  We have them already, after all… they’re called elections.

  • We also need to make the line-item-veto a permanent option for all presidents. That would help to get rid of pork barrel earmarks.

  • These have been going around for awhile, especially term limits.  However, they never get headway since Congress would never pass them and most Congressmen (and women) are lawyers.  We need an informed electorate.  This past election is proof that the electorate is definitely not well informed.  The dems want everyone to vote and not everyone is qualified(no knowledge of history or the Constitution or much else except the latest antics of Britney Spears)  Some can’t even read and write… The Republicans would like people to be more educated and informed …the dems would never win then…
