MORE WILL & MAEVA DANCIN' THE BOOGIE
I found another video of Will and Maeva dancing to Boogie Woogie piano music. They are older and the dance is more polished and better choreographed.
This video is the one I posted earlier. They were younger and their dance was more energetic and less controlled.
Which one do you prefer? For more videos of William Mauvais & Maeva Truntzer, go to their website at:

I think I like the younger.
I prefer the bottom one.
I like the older one......seemed more natural.
Those are some incredible dancers!! woo hoo!!! LOVED that and the music was great! I did like them both but that younger one seemed to have more pep and fun to it. Just my silly opinion. Have a great Thanksgiving!
You did the comment Paul and I agree with you . Finally the second is wild and the first more artistic !!This recalls me the good old time !
In friendshipMichel
I prefer the more lively, less choreographed version.
It's a no-brainer, Paul. The earlier one has all the necessary energy and pace- and some ! It;s a real eye-catching performance, whereas the later one is much more unremarkable and does not capture the rhythm of the boogie to the same degree.
I like the younger............ lots of energy ............. Great Dancing
I prefer the earlier one. Semms more spontaneous and natural. I didn't like the clothing nor hairstyles of the second one as much. Maeva looked much sexier and Will looked more rubber-legged in the first one.
In the original they look like they are having the time of their lives, lovin' every moment of it.In the later version, the music is not as toe-tapping, and the dancers look as though they're just doing it all by rote.
I like the second one better as I have it on my desktop and play at 3 times a week
I like the second set. They seem to have more fun and are staying with the basic boogie. I've watched thirteen sets and I like this over all the rest. Dancing The Boogie is my favorite. Art
Yes I go with the crowd. The second one. I am also biased as I have it on my desk top too and play it all the time. It never fails to stimulate me.
For what it's worth, about four years ago, someone ("willetmae") from the dancers' own YouTube channel remarked on another blog (in mildly francified English) that: "William and Maeva adopt a different attitude on the clip with Sylvan compared to the vidéos which are on their site[.] The cause is that the passages of dances which are on their site are passages in competition thus with much of tension and stakes[.] When Will and Maeva dance in demonstration or to give pleasure the naturalness takes again the top..."
When William and Maeva danced to Zingg's "Dancin' the Boogie" in Lugano, Switzerland in April of 2006, they were both teenagers (Will b. 1988; Maeva b. 1989). Today, more than five years later, both are professional dancers and professional dance teachers with interests which are not limited to boogie woogie.
I've only watched the one where they are older, but I have to ask, in this day and age, WHY on earth are these filmed in such LOW DEFINITION! That's the only horrendous thing! I have a $150 High-Def video camera that films 10x better than this crap!
The DANCE part is NOT crap; and is wonderful!!! But the QUALITY of the videos! Heck, I will go FOR FREE and follow them around and film them in high-def!
I like both of them, but I definitely prefer the earlier one. And I love Zinggs Boogie
Very interesting comparison. The two year difference is striking. The younger, more energetic dance is also more visceral to me and I like it better for that. But I could watch these two all day long whatever they are doing.
