  • ANOTHER WOMAN DRIVER?

This is the craziest police chase I’ve ever seen!
…or maybe she was just looking for a parking space.

  • KINGS FIRECRACKERS

The Firecrackers are a performance jump rope team made up of talented 4th-8th graders from the Kings Local School District in Ohio. Coached by Lynn Kelley, they perform at venues across the country. Some notable past performances have been at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon, and a Presidential Inauguration.

The Firecrackers grew out of an elementary school physical education exposition. Coach Kelly was looking for a rhythmic activity that could be choreographed to music. She found some jump ropes, a few interested students and some good music. The response to the activity was so positive, that it was suggested that the group perform at halftime of a Junior Varsity basketball game. More overwhelmingly positive feedback lead the team to perform at more high school games and then eventually college and NBA basketball games.

They were just named the “Best Touring Act/Halftime Show of 2009″.

  • COMMODORE-64

I was a business machine technician in the fifties and sixties and worked on the old tube-type electronic computer equipment.  Then from the seventies on, I operated computers and even helped design programs for manufacturing. But, I bought my first personal computer in 1982. It was a Commodore-64.

The C-64 was a groundbreaking computer and featured color and animation which was unheard of in a home computer.  It used a regular television set for a monitor and was an 8-bit system with only 64kb of RAM memory.  Internal disc drives hadn’t been developed yet, but I used a standard audio tape cartridge for input and storage.

Over 17 million C-64s were sold which is still the best selling model of all time.
