Barrack Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.

Barack Obama is my college classmate ( Columbia University , class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University . They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kickback hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression?  Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America . But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America . The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan.

Taxes levied on business tend to find their way to customers, workers and anyone with a 401(k).  In other words, you and I will be the one paying taxes that are supposed to hit Wall Street. 

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) evaluated the proposed tax on banks and financial institutions and concluded that big banks wouldn't bear the burden. They would merely pass the cost of the tax to their customers, employees and investors. 

For example: 

• Customers would pay the tax through higher borrowing rates and other fees.
• Bank employees might see their compensation fall.
• The fee would probably lower the total supply of credit in the financial system to a slight degree.
• Less credit for small businesses will make it harder for those businesses to grow and expand, and -- most importantly given our near double digit unemployment rate -- to hire workers. 

Anytime government levies a tax, it takes money out of the private sector.  Taxes on corporations never just hit some boogeyman called "big business."  Businesses are ultimately people: customers, employees and investors.  We end up paying those business taxes, even when they are officially directed at unpopular entities from Wall Street to oil companies.  An example is the "taxes on millionaires" -- a policy being considered in many states and localities facing budget gaps, says Lukas: 

• Certainly, some millionaires will pay higher taxes; however, that means they'll have less to spend on goods and services and less to invest, which hurts businesses, their employees and ultimately all of us.
• And millionaires can relocate; when taxes rise in one city or state, many of these highly mobile individuals will leave -- taking their money and consumer power -- in favor of a lower-tax jurisdiction.  

So forget the politicians' con game on the public - businesses don't pay the taxes, they are just passed on to us in the form of higher costs.  Whenever government raises taxes on business, our paychecks are worth less.

Parkland  Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:

• John F. Kennedy died there in 1963
• Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after
• Jack Ruby-who killed Oswald, died there a few years later.
  

On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year.  (That's almost 44 per day---every day)!

A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants. That's 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas!!!

According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.

The average patient in Parkland in maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child.  She is also an illegal immigrant.  By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.

OK, fine.  That doesn't mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens.  But at Parkland Hospital, they do. " Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics.  NINE!!!

These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes.  They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.

As if that isn't annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish.  In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish.

Several years ago, as I went about my profession of Television Meteorologist I began to hear about "global warming". I studied the literature and tried to understand it.

It didn't add up. I studied some more.

Finally it became clear: There is no significant man-made global warming. Science had gone bad. Al Gore and UN IPCC had followed the wrong path and a massive march toward using bad science to end our use of fossil fuels to power our advanced way of life.

I talked about it with my friends, but otherwise figured it would go away in time. Instead, global warming became the pop-culture, in-crowd cause celeb and the media and government piled aboard. "Inconvenient Truth" won the Oscar. Al Gore and IPCC won the Nobel Peace Prize. I couldn't take it any longer. I wrote and made speeches to try to get my science back on track. Progress was slow. I did what I could but felt as though I was having little impact.

Now it is posted for "all of time", more or less.

The original Sea Dog Brewing Co. was founded by Pete Camplin, Sr. on May 17th, 1993 in the historic shipbuilding town of Camden, Maine, starting with a 240 seat brewpub and kegging brewery overlooking the dramatic waterfall of the old Knox Woolen Mill.

Today, Sea Dog Brewing Company operates brew pubs in three locations. The Sea Dog in Topsham occupies a scenic spot on the Androscoggin River. The Bangor location overlooks the historic Penobscot River. The South Portland location is near the Maine Mall. All three of these locations serve a full menu of handcrafted ales and creative pub fare with a flair.

 Barney was the Sea Dog Brewing Company's apprentice brewmaster and figurehead. Sadly he is no longer with us, but his spirit lives on. A Great Pyrenees, which were originally bred for their dauntless protection of mountain flocks and as official guard dogs for the French court in the 17th century, Barney continued this age old tradition  by posting guard over the brew kettle as it boiled.

Although, the Great Pyrenees breed usually dislikes the water, Barney loved it and dove right in whenever he got the chance.

As a boating "enthusiast" he began sailing at three months and thus acquired his nickname of "Sea Dog". Barney was just as at home on deck as on land.
