I suppose you speak of this wonderful dog , Paul .
You speak of your leg and I hope you are better and the knot shrunk . My wife is hurt at her leg too : problem of veins that needs a surgery in the spring .
The French have given the world great food, wine, and many other good things, but the best gift was the wonderful Pyrenean Mountain Dog. Thank you Michel.
What a beautiful dog. I sometimes wish we could’ve kept our foster pyr, Stanley. We had him for 5 days (just before Xmas) 2 yrs ago. He was an emergency placement as his previous foster home had a sudden medical issue and he needed somewhere to stay until he caught a ride to Colorado to his new home. Stan was 10 wks old and weighed 30 lbs already. He was a BIG pup. My Jesse the bc was 10 mos old and about the same weight. I hear Stanley (now named Goucho) has grown into a lovely pyr boy.
Wow that looks just like my male pyr. He is a big dog. He is a good 150 lbs now. Our female pyr is only 80 pounds. I love those dogs. They are so smart. Too smart. The male can open doors so I have to get deadbolts at the top. He learned how to open the trash compactor with his paw – can’t use that now as he thinks this is he feed bowl. When the doorbell rings he runs to the door (top part glass) and stands on his hind legs and stares eye to eye with the person on the other side. Which usually doesn’t stay long. The delivery guys run to the porch and run to the truck, never do they ring the bell. This list goes on.
